The room learns it,
or nobody does

Most people were never taught how money works, and then were blamed for not knowing. Chaka teaches the whole 10-step Waterfall as a ten-week course, a half-day workshop, or a single talk. Ages 12 and up, in schools, churches, workplaces and community rooms.

What this is not

Chaka is a licensed insurance producer. That is exactly why these rules are printed here rather than mentioned on a call, and they hold whether you book ten sessions or one.

  • Nothing is pitched from the front of the room. We teach the material and stop there. If you want help with your own situation, that is a private one to one conversation, and it happens because you asked for it, not because you sat in the room.
  • Adults can choose to stay in touch. There may be a handout, and you can opt in on the day for follow-up material or the occasional email. Nobody is added for attending, nobody is chased, and one reply telling us to stop ends it. Under-18s are never added to anything.
  • For anyone under 18, a parent or guardian gives written permission first, and we never collect contact details from a young person.
  • Chaka is a licensed insurance producer and says so in the first five minutes, along with how he is paid. Steps 1 through 6 have nothing to sell.
  • He is not securities-licensed, not a tax professional and not an attorney, and the session says where each of those questions belongs.
  • Materials are provided. Rooms with no budget are not turned away; say so and we will work it out.

Working with under 18s

Four answers your board will want, before you have to ask for them.

Who can be mentored one to one?
Eighteen and over only. Under 18 is group settings, in your room, with your staff present.
What about the 12 to 18 group sessions?
A parent or guardian gives written permission before a young person takes part. No exceptions, and it is your permission form or ours, whichever your organization already uses.
Who is in the room?
Every mentor is vetted before working with young people. Youth work runs through Youth Today Leaders Tomorrow, which is the arm set up for it.
What happens to their information?
We collect only what runs the session. No young person is added to a marketing list, and we do not take contact details from a young person directly.

Anything else your policy requires, ask and we will provide it.

Pick the size that fits your room

A single talk

45 to 60 minutes

One idea taken all the way down rather than ten skimmed. Usually the water picture, the 3-30-300 ladder, or why nine families in ten lose it by the third generation. Questions are part of it, not a formality at the end.

Conferences, churches, employee groups, community meetings, parent evenings

A half-day workshop

3 to 4 hours

Steps 1 to 5 with the worksheets, so people leave having actually written their numbers down rather than having agreed that they should.

Staff development days, church programs, community organizations, small business groups

The 10-Part Series

Ten sessions, 60 to 90 minutes each

The whole cascade, one step a week, with the Digital Desk and the Build running through every session. Participants finish with a written blueprint and a one-page business plan they presented out loud.

Schools, youth programs, churches, workforce development, community organizations. Ages 12 and up.

Youth mentoring

Ongoing, arranged around the group

Character, leadership and money in the same conversation, because separating them is what produces adults who can earn and cannot keep.

Through Youth Today Leaders Tomorrow. Groups from age 12. One to one is 18 and over only.

One step a week, in the order it works

Same ten steps as the Blueprint, taught rather than read. Every session runs the same shape, so a room knows what to expect by week two.

The Step. Money is drawn before it is built. What are you building, and who is it for? The 3, 30 and 300 year ladder, because it frames every session that follows.

The Digital Desk. Your digital front door. An email address that reads like an adult wrote it, and why the one you pick follows you for twenty years.

The Build. Write down one thing people already ask you to do for them.

Take-home. One sentence: what you want your money to do in thirty years.

Two curricula inside the ten

Neither is a bonus session at the end. Ten minutes a week for ten weeks is more teaching time than one session, and it arrives in the order somebody can use it. Attendance is always thinnest at the end anyway.

The Digital Desk

Ten minutes a week, ten weeks, in the order people can use them.

  1. Your digital front door
  2. The password that resets everything else, and two-factor
  3. Reading money on a phone, and alerts
  4. Spotting a scam: the four tells
  5. Your digital paper trail
  6. Public wifi and borrowed devices
  7. AI tools without being fooled
  8. Backing up what matters
  9. Your digital estate
  10. The habit list

Sessions 1 to 3 set up an identity and let somebody see their own money. Session 4 lands on scams the week they have just been told about free money, which is exactly when the fraudulent version starts to look plausible. Everything after that is protection and durability.

The Build

Fifteen minutes a week. By session 10 every participant has spoken to a real person about a real thing, and holds a one-page plan.

  1. What do people already ask you for
  2. Who exactly is it for
  3. What does one cost you to deliver
  4. What will you charge, and why
  5. The separate bank account
  6. Ten conversations
  7. Money in, money out
  8. Deliver one and get paid
  9. What changes if you do ten
  10. One page, presented

A fifteen-year-old who mows lawns and a forty-year-old who does books are running the same ten steps at different scale, and they help each other more than either expects. That is why ages 12 and up genuinely works here rather than being a slogan.

How it usually goes

  1. You ask. Beside this, or by phone. Tell us the group, roughly when, roughly how many, and whether under-18s are in the room.
  2. Chaka replies himself, usually inside two working days, with what he would suggest for that room and what it would cost. Some rooms cost nothing.
  3. A short call, fifteen minutes, to agree the format, the dates and who is handling the room.
  4. Permission forms first if anyone is under 18, before any date is confirmed.
  5. Materials arrive a week before, so whoever is hosting has seen everything the room will see.

Ask about a session

The quickest way to reach Chaka about a talk, a workshop or the Series is directly. Tell him the group, roughly when, roughly how many people, and whether anyone in the room is under 18.
